Terms and conditions are where a casino’s promises meet the small print. This page is the Pack Desk’s plain-English guide to the terms that matter most at Pawbets: who can play, how money moves, how bonuses really work and what happens if something goes wrong.

One thing to be clear on from the start: this is not the operator’s legal document. It is an independent summary. The full terms published on the casino site are binding and prevail over anything here. Use this page to know what to look for, then read the real thing.

Eligibility: who can open an account

The basics are short and strict:

  • 18 or over. No exceptions, and age is verified before you can deposit or play.
  • Resident in Great Britain. The account is set up for GB players and pays in pounds sterling only.
  • One account per person. Duplicate accounts are typically closed, and any bonuses claimed through them forfeited.
  • Your own details and money. Accounts must be opened in your legal name, funded from payment methods in your name.

Bonuses carry an extra layer: one per household, IP address and payment method, for new customers only. Shared flats and family homes occasionally fall foul of this, so check before you claim.

Account verification

UK rules require age and identity verification before any play or deposit. For most players this happens automatically within minutes of finishing the three-step registration. If the automatic check cannot confirm your details, you will be asked for:

  • photo ID (passport or driving licence);
  • proof of address, such as a recent bank statement or utility bill.

Completed verification is also required before your first withdrawal. Separately, the operator may ask about source of funds at any time, especially as deposits rise. This is an anti-money-laundering and affordability duty, not suspicion of you personally, and our troubleshooting page covers what to do if documents are rejected.

Verification is the porch you pass through once: get it done at sign-up and withdrawals later run smoothly.

Deposits and withdrawals

The payment terms are mostly about limits and routes:

  • Minimum deposit: £10, or £20 if you want the welcome bonus.
  • Minimum withdrawal: £10.
  • Maximum withdrawal: £5,000 per day and £20,000 per month, with higher limits for VIP players.
  • Closed loop: you withdraw to the method you deposited with. Paysafecard is deposit-only, so an alternative is agreed after checks.
  • No fees are charged by the casino on deposits or withdrawals in GBP.
  • Not accepted: credit cards are not accepted, and crypto is not permitted on UK accounts.

Withdrawals are reviewed 24/7, with average internal approval around two hours. After that, timing depends on the method: e-wallets and open banking land in under two hours, Apple Pay and Google Pay within 24 hours, debit cards and bank transfer in one to three days. The payments matrix on our homepage lists every method.

Bonus terms

The welcome offer is 100% up to £300 + 100 Free Spins. The terms behind it:

  • Opt in at the cashier before your first deposit of at least £20.
  • Wagering: 10x the bonus amount, within 30 days. On a £100 bonus, that means £1,000 in qualifying bets.
  • Contribution: slots count 100%; live casino and table games count 10%. So £100 staked on blackjack clears only £10 of the target.
  • Maximum stake: £2 per spin or round while the bonus is active.
  • Free spins: 100 spins at 10p on Big Bass Splash, credited 20 a day for five days. You have to log in each day to collect them. Winnings from free spins are paid as bonus funds with the same 10x wagering and are capped at £100.
  • The £300 cap: depositing more than £300 adds no extra bonus.

The two terms that catch people out

Betting over £2 a spin with a bonus active, and playing live tables expecting them to clear wagering at full speed. Either can leave you with a balance you cannot withdraw yet. If you mainly play live casino, consider skipping the bonus altogether.

Full worked examples are on our promotions page.

Reload and cashback terms

Two ongoing promotions have their own short rulebooks:

  • Paw Wallet Boost: a 25% reload up to £100, once a week, on deposits of £20 or more made with Skrill, Neteller or Revolut. Wagering is 10x within 14 days. It exists because crypto is not permitted on UK accounts.
  • Matchday Cashback: 10% back on net casino losses from Friday to Sunday, up to £50, paid on Monday as real cash with no wagering.
  • Fetch Races: weekly slot tournaments with a £5,000 prize pool and no entry fee; points are based on spin multipliers.

Promotional terms usually let the operator withdraw or amend an offer with notice, and exclude players found abusing them. That is standard, but it is worth knowing.

Game rules and malfunctions

Every game has its own rules screen, including its RTP, and those rules form part of the terms. Two clauses deserve attention:

  • Malfunction voids all pays and plays. If a game or server fails, the affected rounds can be voided and stakes returned. A screen showing a large win caused by a technical fault will not be honoured.
  • Interrupted sessions. If your connection drops mid-round, the outcome is usually settled on the server and the result appears when you return. Live dealer rounds follow the studio’s own rules for voided hands or spins.

UK slot rules also apply throughout: no autoplay, no turbo or quick spin, a minimum 2.5-second spin cycle, and no bonus buys, which are banned for GB players.

Dormant accounts

Leave an account untouched for long enough and the terms start to take an interest.

The detail here varies between operators, so read the full terms. In our reading, an account with no logins or bets for 12 months is treated as inactive, and you receive a reminder before anything else happens. The full terms set out whether any administration fee then applies, how much notice is given and how a remaining balance is returned.

The simplest way to avoid the issue is to withdraw your balance before taking a long break. If you would rather close the account than leave it idle, ask live chat to close it once the balance is withdrawn. Any unused bonus funds or free spins on a dormant account are normally forfeited when their own expiry dates pass, regardless of the dormancy rules, so do not rely on them waiting for you.

Responsible gambling and account closure

Responsible gambling tools are part of the terms, not a separate courtesy. You can set deposit and loss limits, session reminders, time-outs of 24 hours to six weeks, and self-exclusion of six months or more. The casino takes part in GAMSTOP, which blocks you from every licensed UK site at once.

Closing an account is different from self-excluding. A closure is a simple choice made through live chat; self-exclusion is a protective block that cannot be lifted early. The operator also reserves the right to restrict or close accounts after affordability checks, and any VIP perk is subject to those checks. Free help is available from BeGambleAware.org, GamCare (0808 8020 133) and Gordon Moody.

Complaints and ADR

If something goes wrong, the route is set by the licence:

  1. Raise it with support. Live chat runs 24/7; a help-centre ticket gets a reply within 12 hours.
  2. Escalate to a formal complaint. Ask for it to be logged as a complaint and keep the reference.
  3. Go to ADR. If you have no resolution after eight weeks, or disagree with the final response, refer it to the Alternative Dispute Resolution provider named in the full terms. It is independent and free.

Keep screenshots, dates and amounts. They help every stage move faster.

Keep a paper trail

Copy the chat transcript or save the ticket email after each contact. A complaint with dates, amounts and transaction IDs gets resolved far faster than one built from memory. Our login guide shows where account history lives.

Changes to the terms

Operators can update terms, and do. Under UK consumer law and Gambling Commission conditions, changes must be fair, notified in advance, and cannot be applied retroactively to a bonus you already accepted. Material changes are normally flagged by email or when you next log in. If you disagree with a change, you can withdraw your balance and close the account. It is worth saving a copy of the terms on the day you claim a bonus, so that you can show which version applied if a dispute later arises over wagering or stake limits.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this page the official Pawbets terms and conditions?

No. This is an independent, plain-English summary written by our editorial team. The operator's full terms on its own site are the legally binding version and they prevail over anything written here. Read them before you register, and again whenever you are notified that they have changed.

How long do I have to clear the welcome bonus?

You have 30 days from the moment the bonus is credited to wager it 10 times. Slots count 100% towards that target, while live casino and table games count only 10%. Any bonus funds and winnings tied to them that are still unwagered after 30 days are removed from the account.

What is the maximum bet while a bonus is active?

The maximum stake is £2 per spin or round while bonus funds are in play. Going over that limit can lead to bonus winnings being voided. Separately, UK rules cap online slot stakes at £5 per spin, or £2 per spin for players aged 18 to 24, at all times.

Why do I have to withdraw to the same payment method?

This is the closed-loop rule. Withdrawals go back to the method you deposited with, which helps prevent fraud and money laundering. If that method cannot receive payouts, as with Paysafecard vouchers, live chat will agree an alternative such as bank transfer after verifying your identity.

What happens to a Pawbets account I stop using?

In our reading, an account with no activity for 12 months is treated as dormant and the holder receives a reminder first. Whether any administration fee then applies, and on what notice, is set out in the full terms, so check them. Withdrawing your balance before a long break avoids the question.

Can the terms change after I sign up?

Yes. Operators can update their terms, but under UK consumer law and licence conditions they must give notice and cannot apply unfair changes retroactively to a bonus you have already accepted. Material changes are usually announced by email or on login, and continuing to play normally counts as acceptance.
